Recently I have been asking Holy Spirit to let me see His love for people in a new way. He had me think...if Jesus walked into the room, would I recognize Him? If I didn't recognize Him, would I still treat Him the same as if I did recognize Him? Would I act differently? Then He reminded me that as we are all made in His image, all His creation, and loved unconditionally by Him, why would I act any differently or treat anyone less than who they are... a child of God, made IN THE IMAGE OF HIM, & dearly loved by their Creator!

Holy Spirit showed me that in order for me to see His love for people in a new & deeper way, I had to be reminded of past encounters where I treated anyone less than they were meant to be treated as a child of God. As I have treated people, thus I have treated God, because we are made in His image, His dearly loved. He has graciously reminded me of past perspective in order to shift into a new & deeper one.

We are all created beautifully, all unique to the Kingdom of God. Much like the eye, which is profoundly unique itself.

You might be wondering why 2 eyes, well, its not... it's only one... but it's under different lighting and different emotional state that the color has changed. The eye is a remarkable organ, so complex and mysterious; some anatomy and function still unknown, and evidence of grand design by our Creator.

As the eye detects and sees, it sends electrical impulses to the brain via the optic nerve, and from there, we react to what we see. We have the choice to react with love. To see others the way Jesus does is the perspective that we should have, and treat them according to how He would.

What is your perspective? Are you showing love the way we are called to?

LORD, thank you for your perspective, for eyes to see, and for Jesus' example on how to live out love and treat others!
